Koregoan Taluka
Rahimatpur
Even though Koregaon is the taluka headquarters, it is small and thus has a gram panchayat. Rahimatpur is larger, so it has a municipality. During the British period, Rahimatpur was the taluka headquarters and housed all government offices. However, for convenience, the British relocated the government offices to Koregaon, making it the taluka headquarters since then.

The fort has a pillar well halfway up, and after climbing further, you reach the north-facing entrance. Inside, there is a tunnel with knee-deep clean water. The tunnel houses a 9th-century idol of Jain Tirthankara Parshvanath, along with idols of a goddess and Dattatreya, known as Parshvanath or Datt Cave due to these idols.
