Election Branch Collector office satara

According to the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India, the District Election Officers are responsible for the smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. The Election Office provides assistance to the District Collector and District Election Officer in the day-to-day work related to election and establishment matters.

Apart from this, voter registration officers, assistant voter registration officers and booth level officers cooperate with them to carry out election related work at the constituency level.

      1)   255 –    Phaltan (SC)

      2)   256 –    Wai

      3)   257 –    Koregaon

      4)   258 –    Man

      5)   259 –    Karad North

      6)   260 –    Karad South

      7)    261 –    Patan

      8)    262 –    Satara

All Election related activities are conducted by the above offices. The District Collector’s (Election Branch) Office is working to supervise and coordinate on behalf of the District Magistrate. Mr. Bhagwan Kamble is currently working as deputy collector election as HOD of this branch.

Duties of Deputy District Election Officer

      1)   Conduct General Elections to Loksabha,

      2)   Conduct General Elections to Vidhansabha,

      3)   Graduate Teachers Constituency Election

      4)   special co-operative societies in the district.

      5)  Updating electoral rolls

      6)  Preparation and Rationalization of polling stations as directed by the Election Commission of India

      7)   Preparation of voter ID card as per the directions of the Election Commission.
